SELSDON, GOLDEN ARK (--individual--), 186 Addington Road, CR2 8LB. Conveniently situated in the centre of Selsdon, this micro-pub opened on 13 January 2019. The light interior is enhanced by an attractive bar and tables in natural wood, with further wood decoration on the walls. There is a choice of seating types. A rotating selection of ales from local microbreweries is available through four handpumps, with a further selection of ales and ciders on key keg and in a large range of bottles and cans (also available as off-sales). Their own Golden Ark Ale is brewed in London.

Previously reported as a restaurant (2016), confirmed in Dec 18 as now open again after a closure, reverting to a pub, called ISLINGTON SPORTS BAR, selling real ale but Sharps Doom Bar and Atlantic unavailable on a visit due to an Arsenal home match the day before, being very close to the Emirates. A pub that has been through a number of changes since the 1990s, from the Prince of Wales, to a Hobgoblin, the Study, and then the Herbert Chapman before being renamed again in 2013 as Filthy's. Run by the small Hathor Inns pubco, who had other Filthy's pubs in Belfast and Nottingham.

It laid vacant for a number of years after the former Carvosso's closed and re-opened in January 2019 with a new name, after extensive refurbishment by Harcourt Inns. It's their fourth pub & dining rooms to be launched by them, and famed Chef Henry Harris. Entering up a few steps though the large front door you reach the air conditioned spacious bar area. The modern decor is of light grey walls with monochrome prints reflecting Chiswick's historical heritage. If bar stools are not to your liking there's a comfortable side lounge with large windows overlooking the High Road, although space there is limited. If you are not eating in the restaurant there is a selection of bar snacks available that are listed on a chalk board. During the summer months the internal courtyard space will be in use. The main dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows. The restaurant offers a seven-day a week, all-day menu, from morning breakfasts, onto casual or formal lunches and dinners. There are two private dining rooms also available to book. Regular beers Fuller's London Pride and Timothy Taylor Landlord plus a changing beer such as Thornbridge Lord Marples .
