SOUTH CROYDON, BASKERVILLE (Star (Heineken UK)), 13 Selsdon Road. Renamed WHELAN'S. The former Baskerville reopened on 24/8/18 as an Irish-themed pub, with booth seating and an open entertainment area. The seating capacity is 120 including at the front and side of the pub. A wide selection of wines, craft beers, Irish malt whiskeys and gin is available. Home-cooked food is available from 30 August. Sixteen screens show sport and there is live music three nights a week including one night of traditional Irish music and a Sunday night entertainment slot between 6 and 9pm. SE19, CRAFT & COURAGE (--individual--), 28 Westow Hill. A small, friendly bottle shop and bar, with a few tables and seats, and shelves and fridges well stocked with cans and bottles from brewers far and near. No cask ale, but on draught is a properly-brewed lager and a couple of key-keg or keg ales, one at session strength and one stronger, often from local brewers such as Kernel, Gipsy Hill and London Beer Factory. A draught cider is also served. No mass-produced beers are sold here. Bottles and cans can be purchased to drink on or off the premises, and when sold as on-sales are served properly in a glass. SE25, CRAFT BEER CABIN (--individual--), 210A Selhurst Road. This micro-sized outlet opened on 4 August 2018, run by the owners of the 'Craft Beer Cab' which has been on the road for 3 years. It boasts more than 100 different beers and ciders to drink there or take away; there are six draught lines and a large range of cans and bottles. SE25, ALBION (Weir Inns), 26 High Street. The Albion has recently been refurbished and now presents a less traditional interior. Two hand-pumps. Greene King Abbot and a changing beer possibly from Twickenham.

SE25, TWO BOBBYS (ex-Taylor Walker), 40 Portland Road. Originally the Queen's Arms from the 1840s, and rebuilt around 1924, this pub was renamed shortly before it closed in the mid 2000s. The forecourt was being used for selling cars. Hoardings appeared by June 2012. Planning app to demolish and build hotel dismissed on appeal January 2014 New planning app submitted Feb 2018:- Erection of a part three and part four storey building to provide a ground floor commercial unit (Use Class A1 / A2 / A3 / B1), 59 student rooms and associated facilities.

From Propel - until otherwise know still classified as a restaurant Redcomb Pubs relaunches Alphabet in Islington: Multi-site operator Redcomb Pubs, founded by Dan Shotton and Mark Draper, has relaunched its Alphabet bar restaurant in Islington, north London. Formerly located in Soho’s Beak Street, the 180-cover venue has reopened in Upper Street offering Mediterranean-inspired sharing plates, hand-pressed flatbread and tagine. Alphabet also offers 26 cocktails and music at weekends. Signature dishes include Moroccan-spiced chicken wings with lemon and saffron, while there are kebabs, superfood and summer salads, and daily changing specials. The cocktail menu has been developed by Redcomb operations manager Chris Edwards. Alongside sister venue the Lockhouse in Paddington, Alphabet falls under Redcomb Pubs’ urban social division, which represents a key focus of expansion for the company with future projects in the pipeline. Redcomb Pubs currently operates 16 pubs and bars in London and surrounding counties, incorporating a number of pubs with rooms. A cosy, friendly and quality live music and cocktail bar by night!" A live music venue with 5 keg beers and bottled beers from breweries such as the Kernel available.

NW1, LOCK TAVERN (Camden Bars), 35 Chalk Farm Road. Owner now East London Pub Co Description updated to:- East London Pub Co has taken on Camden live music venue The Lock Tavern for its fourth site. The company said the pub in Chalk Farm Road would have “a full schedule of live music and DJs on a weekly basis” It will invest more than £500,000 into the restoration of the venue, which will take place over six months and aim to preserve the original atmosphere, much-loved aesthetics and traditional interiors.. It will also introduce a new bar, roof terrace and rear garden.

NORTH HARROW, HEADSTONE HOTEL (--unknown--), 58 Station Road. Was a large pub opposite North Harrow Station. Demolished c.1987 for what is now Churchill Court, a three storey office block. Any info on the former ownership of this pub would be appreciated.
