Morning session - reports and activities

1. Welcome, Opening Remarks; Background and Purpose of the Day

2. Key Campaigns for 2012-13 - an update

3. The Strategic Model and Planning Process

4. CAMRA's Vision, Mission, Positioning Statement and Values - explanation and discussion

5. How CAMRA is structured - who does what: staff and the new committee structure

6. Volunteering update

7. Summary of activities to support the plan and explanation of the afternoon activities

Lunch (1pm - 2pm)

Afternoon session - Group Activities

Split into two groups in line with the strategic directions: 1. Increasing the popularity of Real Ale (Group A) 2. Securing a thriving pub sector (Group B)

Group Activity 1 - Identifying the key issues and seeing what might be missing from the branch and members' activities.

Group Activity 2 - Prioritisation of branch and members' activities

Group Activity 3 - Identify which issues should be covered in CAMRA's five year strategic plan

Tea (beer) break 3.35-3.50 approximately
