COULSDON, BAR CHORD, 6 The Parade, 258 Coulsdon Road, CR5 1EA. Bar Chord is a friendly music themed micropub in the premises previously occupied by the Aycorn Shoppe wine bar in the Tudor Parade in Old Coulsdon. It opened at the end of April 2026. A cask ale from Westerham Brewery is served (currently from a mini-pin), along with wine, cocktails, amd lager and cans from Wimbledon Brewery. Food is limited to items such as soup, bread, cheese and a meat board. There is weekly live music on Thursdays and vinyl jukebox on Tuesdays. Other events include a monthly quiz (1st Wednesday), open mic (3rd Wednesday) and jazz jam (4th Wednesday).

CROYDON, BISHOP'S WINE BAR, 1129 Whitgift Centre, CR0 1UZ. This very friendly wine bar was located for 44 years just outside the Whitgift Centre. The Whitgift Centre's developers, Westfield, have however terminated the lease, forcing the bar to close on 1 July.
CROYDON, GEORGE (Wetherspoon), 17-21 George Street, CR0 1LA. The George is now closed for extensive refurbishment and JD Wetherspoon plan to reopen it around 31 July.

The bar is on the ground floor and two themed "escape rooms" are in the basement. Drinks are mainly cocktails and spirits with a few wines and a couple of beers. Peanuts, olives and crisps, plus more substantial sushi-type snacks, are available as eats. Note this was originally at 51A Hugh Street.

SW3, NEW FORMS (//), 9 Chelsea Manor Street, SW3 3TW. In a 1,045 sq. ft site next to BookBar in The Gaumont development. It serves as "a hub for vinyl culture and social connection, while also featuring a music-led bar that regularly hosts events and collaborations with artists and musicians". It's a cafe, bar, and record shop with an extensive vinyl collection and a high-quality sound system. There are two sister sites in London. Decoration is minimalist and all the records on the wall are for sale! A couple of draught keg beers are available plus a small range of other drinks including cocktails; some bar snacks/nibbles are also offered. Walk-ins only, no reservations. At date of this entry K&C Council is still responding to a cyber attack and licensing details cannot be accessed. It is likely that alcohol cannot be served until noon.

It operates across two smallish shop premises, 94 & 96. The venue is primarily a bottle shop, light restaurant and wine bar; but does also serve some draught beers. There is a tapas-style food menu of small dishes, but including larger cheese/charcuterie sharing platters. The beer range includes craft beers from Brasserie Carteron including some draught, and the venue has exclusive UK rights to sell wines from the Domaine Bayle-Carreau. Described as a "true hidden gem with a warm authentic French atmosphere".

Known to CAMRA members for hosting for many years the now-defunct Great British Beer Festival, the Olympia site had a massive £1.3 billion makeover in the early 2020s, and the inside finally started to open again in mid-2026. Incipio Group has opened multiple bars and eateries including Bar Arriba, a Mexican-inspired venue serving small bites and cocktails; Wolves of Tokyo, an 80-cover Japanese restaurant with 200-capacity cocktail bar; and wine bar Lillies. These are all in The Canopy roof area which has its own address and postcode, Emberton Walk, London W14 8FJ. Other venues include Arbour Bar & food hall, and the Pillar Hall houses speakeasy-style bar Pepperbird. So, you will not be short of somewhere to eat or drink or both! Venues are card-only; they have their own websites with opening hours and food/drink menu details. Music, entertainment and exhibition venues are via operators AEG, Trafalgar Entertainment and The Shubert Organisation. Venues include the 1,575-capacity British Airways Theatre. Olympia also accommodates two new hotels – the 204-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia, and the 146-room CitizenM London Olympia. The site has a 200-metre frontage on Hammersmith Road so some pre-visit research may be wise, to avoid getting lost in its vastness.
