Note correct address, although pub describes it as Ball Court, 38 1/2 Cornhill. Two bars, ground floor and basement. The pub was founded by Thomas Simpson in 1757 and is currently owned by E.J. Rose but was for sale as was the Jamaica Wine House. Reopening as the Cloth venue. Upstairs restaurant offering both lunch and dinner. Two areas downstairs - Amy's bar for standing only with overspill into the courtyard and the adjoining old grill room with seating for 40 people. Some of the original signage remains.
