This started life as F Cooke's Eel, Pie & Mash Shop and is a Grade II listed building . The interior of the original shop with its completely tiled walls remains with a new bar running down the right hand side. After it closed as a Pie & Mash shop it became a Chinese Restaurant then a games bar. Reopend by Exale Brewing as a bar/community space. The bar is in the old shop with larger spaces to the rear including a ballroom and a games area. There is a garden to the rear with seating for 150 people, a Pentanque court and an eel tank. Two handpups sell an Exale cask beer and a cider.- ther are 12 keg lines.
