This micropub - the first in the borough of Bromley - was formerly a wine bar. It opened in 2014 as a welcome addition to the Petts Wood area and is still extremely popular with a friendly and lively local following.
After changing management in October 2023, this reopened in January 2024 after a short break for refurbishment. Now light and bright with wooden flooring and high wooden tables around the cream coloured walls with benches and stools to sit on. Hops hang from the ceiling whilst there is a selection of pump clips above the door. One corner is devoted to photos of local dogs, aptly named "One Inn The Woof".
A wide wooden bar counter serves the beers and ciders, which come from a temperature controlled cool room behind. Up to six cask ales are available, both from Kent and further afield, whilst the range offered frequently changes with the occasional tap takeover. The house ale is from the Tonbridge brewery. Several keg beers are also available and can include Left Handed Giant, New Bristol, Sureshot, Track and Verdant, whilst the house porter is from Anspach & Hobday. All cask ales and other beers are listed on blackboards at the rear of the bar (refer to social media links for the latest list). Kent cider, wines, spirits and fruit juices are also available as are cans from the fridge.
Charcuterie and cheese boards are also available along with other bar snacks.
There is a charity fine box for mobile phone use inside the pub.
