CROYDON, TRICKLE, 26 Dingwall Road, CR0 9XF. A new bar underneath a residential block, consisting of an open plan, bare-walled space, and a reasonably sized terrace at the front. All drinks are served on draught, apart from wine by the bottle. Over 20 taps dispense 7 keg beers, 3 ciders, and also wine by the glass, cocktails and soft drinks. The house beers are brewed by Purity brewery, and there are 2 others, possibly Brick and Brew by Numbers. Note that two half pints will cost significantly more than a pint.
SUTTON, CHICAGO ROCK, 2 Throwley Road, SM1 4JG. Reopened as THROWLEY YARD, an independent cinema and cultural hub. As well as four cinema screens it has a bar and cafe, and there is a strong focus on the local community. The bar serves a selection of keg beers.

NW3, TIPSY DOG BOTTLE SHOP, Unit 4, 12 Heath Street, NW3 6TE. It's been open a while but only can and bottle were available. It is now doing two keg beers for drinking in, confirmed last night. Cans and bottles can be purchased for takeaway or can be ordered on-line for delivery if you live in NW3.

A large Wetherspoon pub opened on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 in The Sidings part of Waterloo railway station on the site of the old Eurostar terminal. Its name comes from that of the Lion & The Unicorn Pavilion in the nearby 1951 Festival of Britain attraction with a lion and a unicorn seen as “symbols of Britain’s character”

SE16, KERNEL TAP ROOM SPA ROAD (//), 132 Spa Road, SE16 3AE. A taproom for the brewery, opened on 8th August 2024 replacing its original one within the brewery, located on the ground floor of a new residential block in Spa Road and providing a large airy space with plenty of seating. L-shaped bar counter and the décor is industrial with visible ceiling ducting. A kitchen has bene provided making food availability possible. The current food offering is cheese boards, a charcuterie board and other small snacks. On-line bookings for groups of 4 or more may be made but for for Saturdays only bookings of 20-30 people are accepted. The bar is equipped with 2 handpumps and 25 keg taps plus canned and bottled beers.
SE18, FOX UNDER THE HILL (Greene King/Hungry Horse), 286 Shooters Hill Road, SE18 4LT. Closed in July 2024, reopened but no longer a Hungry Horse but as a plain Greene King pub in late August 2024.

A large site in a corner of the giant Zig Zag Building in busy Victoria Street, this venue describes itself as a "bowling and activity bar" but also including mini golf, shuffleboard, beer pong, augmented darts, and an adults-only games arcade hall downstairs. The venue is part of a national chain with one outpost abroad in Berlin. Various draught keg beers are available plus Patty & Bun burgers. The bar is along the back wall and it's perfectly possible to just have a drink if you want one.
SW1, M BAR VICTORIA ST (Land Securities), Unit 3, Zig Zag Building, 70 Victoria Street, SW1E 6SQ. Reopened as BAM KARAOKE BOX. Part of an international chain providing "drinks plus entertainment" this is a venue with a ground-floor bar plus an outside terrace. Down below in the BAM BAM Bar there is food, drink and live music before or after experiencing one of the 22 private karaoke rooms. Various keg and bottled beers are available, plus a limited but interesting food menu. BAM is an abbreviation of "boite a musique" or music box in English; as of course you knew.
