SE20, PAWLEYNE ARMS (Stonegate/Craft Union), 156 High Street, SE20 7EU. Re-opened in early February 2024 with new management under the Craft Union Pub group. Sharps's Doom Bar and Timothy Taylor Landlord available.
BECKENHAM, HOMESTEAD CAFE Outside cafe bar that was originally the 18th C. stable block built in Georgian style and part of Beckenham Place nearby. Now restored, the large courtyard with awnings leads onto the terrace with its views over the gardens and downhill to the lake. Separate coffee bar with food serving the courtyard with beer bar to the side serving the terrace. Operates as a "take-away" business following the pandemic in 2020-2021 with a strong emphasis on reducing waste as part of the Mayor of London's Green New Deal. Keg beers from draught mainly from London microbreweries (Orbit, Drop Project, Kernel and Brick). Emphasis is on sustainability with robust re-usable cups (no glasses). Coffee is supplied by Square Mile Coffee with snacks including pastries, cakes and pizzas baked on the premises. Popular throughout the year, especially so during the warmer months when visitors can enjoy the adjacent gardens and lake (swimming in summer). Handy for both the Capital Ring and Green Chain Walk, this is also popular with walkers. Various other trails lead around the park and nearby woodland (popular with its display of bluebells in Spring). Closing times may change depending upon any events being held in the courtyard.

KESTON, FOX INN (Stonegate), Heathfield Road, BR2 6BQ. Reopened in early January 2024 after being closed for refurbishment, this is now a smart and clean, modern yet rural, gastropub-cum-brasserie. Four cask ales are normally available.

Various food menus are available including a pre-theatre menu, all veering towards tex-mex, and the drinks list includes some keg beers. There is an upstairs bar as well as the ground floor. According to operator Incipio, the venue "revives the vibrant spirit of Miami's iconic 1930s Clubhouse scene".

The venue is mainly a steak house but the extensive menu includes many other dishes including sandwiches, bar food, Sunday roasts, and a pre-theatre offering. The inside tables are mostly laid up for those dining, but there is some general seating plus a few bar stools. The drinks list includes a few keg draught beers.
