LONDON BEER GUIDES UPDATE 108 (November 1995 edition)

This month we record a number of new pubs including the latest "Old Monk Pub Co." outlet in EC4 Holborn, a Regent Inns pub in Harrow and pubs in El, N13 Palmers Green, N22 Wood Green and Croydon. Ushers have bought a number of pubs in west London of which two in Hounslow have so far been discovered (more information welcome). More Wychwood pubs are reported. A compre-hensive survey of Sam Smith pubs has revealed that 14 out of the 27 in Greater london no longer sell real ale and the remaining 13 sell only one beer, Museum Ale having been withdrawn. Cross referencing to the new North London guide has been postponed until next month to allow a list of updates, errors and omissions to be compiled.

The numbers in brackets after each entry refer to the page number in the following guides: E - East London & City Beer Guide, 3rd edition; K - 'Real Ale Drinkers Guide to Kent Pubs', 8th edition; N - North London Beer Guide, 2nd edition; SE - South East London Pub Guide, 4th edition; 3SE - South East London Pub Guide, 3rd edition; SW - Real Beer in South West London; W - Real Beer in West London; X - Essex Beer Guide, 8th edition. U refers to earlier updates. # indicates a guest beer.
