Licensed in 1765 and rebuilt in 1899; close to the redevelopment on the old Middlesex Hospital site. This is a ground floor bar/pub with three cask ale pumps on the left-hand side of the bar, and four rotating craft beer lines including some foreign bottled beers. Boxed cider available alongside two keg ciders as homage to the pub's spell as a cyder house. A wide food offering includes lunchtime/afternoon sandwiches, pub classics, and an evening set menu. It has been reported that payments are required to be by card, cash not being accepted.
