Rather gastropubby, and seems very busy most of the time in this tourist area, even mid-afternoon. There is a fairly small u-shaped bar downstairs, so a lot of standers both inside and outside; and a lounge upstairs. Three cask ales. The food offering is reasonably priced for the area and includes bar snacks, a main menu including pub favourites, and Sunday roasts. Since its last refurb and reopening, the pub makes efforts to reduce its carbon footprint by working closely with charities such as FareShare (which helps reduce food waste) and the Zero Carbon Forum.
