A gem of a late-Victorian traditional pub, originally a 19th century beer house, commemorating riflemen Frank Edwards a local resident, who dribbled a football across 'No Man's Land' towards the German trench in WW1. Update: A report from the Rifleman Rescue Team: "A new tenant/manager will be taking on the lease soon subject to the paperwork being agreed and completed.
