Famous grade-II listed former Isleworth Brewery riverside pub in 'old' Isleworth, with an unusual name and interesting history. It dates back to Tudor times, although it was rebuilt during the first half of the eighteenth century. The first recorded license dates back to 1731 and it was originally kept open all night for the benefit of travellers on the Thames. The interior is classic 'traditional', although opened out, with additional seating upstairs in the Riverview Room with its own small bar facility (for private functions) and views over the river. No TV screens. Outside is a large patio overlooking the river with many tables with seating. The pub received a major refurbishment in 2026. It is well worth the short walk from the nearest bus stop (H37 - the 117 & 267, 481 stop a little further away). Note road access is only currently available via Park Road.
