The Tap is currently closed whilst a new licensee is sought. New outlet for the Cronx brewery, which opened for the first time on Coronation day. It is a deceptively spacious shop unit with two additional upstairs rooms - one overlooking the bar and another which will be available for hire. Cask ale is now available on two handpumps; a third handpump for a guest ale is planned. Additionally the Cronx range, guest beers, and 4-5 ciders are dispensed from 20 keg taps. Food from Venezuelan pop-up kitchen Tepuy Empanadas is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. There are also cult movie film nights on Tuesdays and comedy on the first Friday of each month.
