It operates in a similar manner to its well-known predecessor in Hayes, with up to seven cask ales, almost all of which are sourced from smaller breweries in Kent, dispensed by gravity from a coldroom. Regular beers are Larkins Pale and Tonbridge Traditional Ale. CAMRA members receive 20p/pint or 10p/half discount.

Until 2020 a Shepherd Neame house and, sometime before that, a Whitbread pub, the lease of the Wilton Arms is now held by Inda Pubs who reopened it in September 2021. The two handpumps may offer a choice of Allsopp's ales (this is a new "brand" owned by a descendant of the Allsopp family who has revived the beers) and sometimes Fuller's London Pride. The kitchen provides an up-market menu of classic British food.

Unlike its sister pub, the Lighterman at King's Cross, there is no Real Ale here.

WC2, JOSHUA'S TAVERN (//), 3-6 St Martin's Street, WC2H 7HL. Situated within the impressive new Londoner Hotel, described as a super-boutique "iceberg hotel"with more space underground than above!. The bar is at level minus-1 from the hotel main foyer but as the hotel handily slopes downhill, the bar is in fact accessible from street level at the south-east corner of the hotel complex. The tavern is described as a neighbourhood gastro bar and the name is a homage to the artist Sir Joshua Reynolds who lived in the area. The bar focus is on gin including decades-old vintage gins, but copper tank draught beer is also served.
