An estate pub now transformed by Stonegate into an attractive sports bar under the Craft Union banner, reopened on 11 December 2024 after more than a year's closure. A single room now sweeps round to take in the area that had been the public bar on the western side, with small rooms off to the left for darts and pool. A Friday disco karaoke promises to be the main attraction, plus live music on Saturdays and some other evenings.

The cask beers are competitively priced; the publican is keen to look after them and so let us hope that enough customers make it worth his while.
