A large imposing late 19th century pub, built in 1897 close to New Eltham railway station. Note ornate details at roof level, front entrance and side conservatory. Recently refurbished to a high standard, with many old features been retained, including some fine cut glass windows. Mirrored back bar, high ceilings give a good feeling of space. Seating is a mixture of high stools around tables and sofas. Old pictures of the area adorn the walls. Operated by Gladewood Taverns.
