We look forward to welcoming people back to the Chappel Winter Beer Festival from Thursday 3 March to Saturday 5 March 2022 To make the event COVID-19 Safe, it will be smaller than previous years and start one day earlier than usual, but we hope to still maintain the best bits and present that classic Chappel atmosphere. Summary of the changes are: - ALL admissions for ALL Sessions will be by pre-purchased tickets, booked on the Chappel Website (link below) - Tickets went on sale on February 1st and in just 12 hours nearly a quarter of the Tickets were sold (including a third of the lunchtime & afternoon Tickets - No souvenir festival glass this year, we will use glasses from previous years (no glass deposits) Opening Times (2 sessions each day - those with tickets for the 1st session each day can stay for the 2nd session) Thu 3 March 11:00-17:30 & 17:30-23:00 Fri 4 March 11:00-17:30 & 17:30-23:00 Sat 5 March 11:00-17:30 & 17:30-23:00 See their Website link or Facebook Page below for further details:more information...

The 12th Chappel Winter Beer Festival is planned to be held from 3rd to 5th March 2022, having been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. This is an All-Ticket event, booked in advance via the Chappel Beer Festival Website.
It is hoped that the 35th Chappel Beer Festival will be able to go ahead this year (again in a more limited form than usual) from Tuesday 6th September to Saturday 10th September.
The Essex Branches of CAMRA normally hold their Chappel Beer Festivals here twice a year, as Fund-Raising Events for the East Anglian Railway Museum. The Museum is normally open daily from 10:00 to 16:30 (except for Christmas Day & Boxing Day, check their website www.earm.co.uk for current details), but Real Ale is not normally available, except at the Chappel Beer Festivals.
