See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Typical 'local' pub just off Barking Town Centre, built by Charrington in 1961 to replace a nearby pub of the same name, that had been demolished. Post-war domestic-style building, with two separate bars and modernised decor, but including many old photos depicting local scenes adorning the walls. Shows Sky TV and has occasional live music and weekly Karaoke. No food served, but roast potatoes put out on the bar on Sunday lunchtimes. Sadly it no longer sells real ale.
