Spacious pub in the town centre in a former bank building, well-served by local transport. Now under the tenancy of Whelan Inns, there is a good range of bottled beer alongside the hand-pumped Fuller's ales. Thai food is served by Jane's Thai Kitchen (separate payment by card only). Sport is shown on the TV screens, with no sound, and an upstairs function rooms is available. The instagram account is 'spreadeaglecroy'. Occasional events are hosted there, such as a DJ and bands.
