Note: This closed pub was damaged by fire on 31 August 2023, at the same time as the Drum and Monkey nearby also caught fire. Friendly single-bar pub catering for the local community. The bar has been moved at some stage to align the exterior wall with the food hatch serving Indian food ( as well as more conventional pub food) opposite. Quiz nights, golf tournaments etc. are organised.
