Multi-roomed pub, saved from closure by Barter Inns after the previous pubco went into receivership. Set back from the road by a large car park in front of it. The main bar (entered from the side) is long and thin whilst the smaller bar at the front is a square shape. There is also a reasonably-sized room connecting with the front bar which houses a dartboard and a pool table. Recently arrived new manager is keen on Real Ale and produces her own blog. Current description correct in respect of Courage Best being from keg. Mighty Oak have assisted in reconnecting unused pumps and there are further plans for the Cask range (as at 25/1/2025).
