SW1, BEAU BRUMMEL (Cubitt House), 3 Norris Street, SW1Y 4RJ. Scheduled to open 23rd September., a new gastropub in the central courtyard of St James’s Market, with an outdoor terrace and two floors of seating and dining. The venue is named after the eponymous Regency arbiter of fashion who, after falling-out with the Prince Regent, died in France penniless and insane from syphilis. The pub will offer an extensive wine menu plus ales, cocktails, and a food offering available from breakfast through to dinner. Close to the site of the Captain’s Cabin.

W6, KINDRED Bradmore House, Queen Caroline Street, W6 9BW. Kindred is a combined café, bar, restaurant, live events space, meeting room and co-working space venue, in an imposing building in the newly-refurbished courtyard area of the Hammersmith Broadway station shopping complex. It faces the courtyard entrances of Craft Beer Co and Chez Maiss. The downstairs area is open to the public and a range of keg draught beers is on offer. Membership of Kindred brings various benefits, see venue website. Note that alcohol may not be sold before 10am. Bradmore House, although looking old, was rebuilt in the baroque style in 1994 as part of the Hammersmith Broadway development. It incorporates a restored early-C18 façade. A panelled room from the Geffrye Museum was installed at Bradmore House in 2002 and the building is Grade II listed for these elements alone.
