Craft Beer Co.17-18 Broadway Shopping Centre
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Following a period of closure this site was taken over by the Craft Beer Co and reopened in 2019, having had a major refurbishment to create a “modern pub with old-school pub values and real hospitality at its core”. The pub takes the form of a moderate-sized room, 'L'-shaped around the bar counter, and seems more spacious than previously, thanks to a contraction of the servery space and perhaps to the geometric patterning of the floor tiles. There is a good-sized outside terrace.
Available should be at least one real ales on handpump plus, as you would expect from the name, a good range of craft beer offerings: up to 20 keg lines and 50+ bottles & cans, including some rarities at appropriate prices. Bar snacks plus burgers and salads are the current food offering.
Its location, close to the Apollo music venue and at the south end of the shopping arcade sandwiched between Hammersmith's bus and the District and Piccadilly Line stations, gives a good passing footfall throughout the day, but the pub can be especially busy before concerts across the road.
